UDACITY OFFICE MURAL

Bringing Brand Values to Life Through Large-scale Graphic Design

Udacity commissioned a series of murals to bring their brand values to life within the office space. Working alongside two other designers, we developed a cohesive visual language to unify the three murals across the office while allowing each to express a distinct theme. I designed one of three murals installed throughout the headquarters, located near the front desk.

My design focused on the student journey from the beginning of their learning path to graduation, which is rooted in Udacity’s “Students First” value. Designed for a tall, narrow wall near the front desk, the composition followed a winding vertical path, symbolizing the ups, downs, and milestones of a student’s educational journey. I incorporated geometric, symbolic elements to represent growth, exploration, and achievement.
